The Motor City Brass Band is a 40 piece, American brass band in the British tradition. Formed eleven years ago by John Aren,  MCBB has grown to a nationally recognized band that performs 25 concerts a year.

Performances include Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., The Macomb Center For The Performing Arts, The Ford Community and Performing Arts Center and four nights at Greenfield Village with The Detroit Symphony Orchestra in front of 35,000 people.

Our Concert Series is held at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, one of the finest auditoriums of its size.

MCBB is made up of musicians from the ages of 17 to 70 from a wide spectrum of careers and interests unified by an uncommon passion for excellence in brass band music. At any given MCBB performance you can expect to hear music from the serious side to the light side and everywhere in between. "It's more than a concert, it's a show"
